A VACATION
Together with my father and my brother, I’ve been filming our travels for the past two years. The result is a blend of documentary and feature film, which we present in an open-air summer cinema in my hometown of Kamp-Lintfort, supported by the city. This year, 500 people attended the first screening, and we donated the proceeds to cultural institutions in Kamp-Lintfort as well as to the local animal shelter.

PAnasfd Episode Eins (2024)

PANASFD is the proof-of-concept episode for a biting political satire about Jens Breuckmann, a small-town phony with mayoral ambitions who sees politics as nothing more than a casting call – and his own ego as the best idea since democracy.

By his side: Martin, a young, idealistic assistant who genuinely believes they can save the world together. Jens has convinced him – or rather, gaslighted him – that they’re destined to make history.

While Martin fights with conviction, Jens stumbles from one cringe-worthy speech to the next scandal, from absurd interviews to the next boundary crossed.

What follows is a grotesque political odyssey through small-town Germany.

I Think I Killed (In Postproduction)

After a night at the cinema, Thomas and his girlfriend Astrid stumble upon a street scene where a woman is being attacked.
While a stranger steps in to help, Thomas freezes — paralyzed by fear. Overcome with guilt and shame, he begins to question his masculinity and his courage. Later that evening, on his way to the corner store alone, Thomas witnesses another threatening situation — but this time, he intervenes.
The moment escalates, and Thomas knocks the attacker unconscious… or possibly worse. Back in his apartment, his hands still stained with blood, it becomes clear: Thomas has crossed an invisible line — driven by a deep, desperate need to prove to himself and the world that he’s not a coward.
But at what cost?

Die Tankstelle am Ende der Welt (In Postproduction)

A couple and a group of strangers learn that the world is about to end.
Caught between everyday routines, fear, despair, and questions of faith, personal conflicts and relationships unfold — along with deep, existential reflections on life, death, and the possibility of hope.
